A wafer or lugged pattern, rubber seated butterfly valve. The seat is vulcanised to the valve body, and incorporates a modified cosine curve seat profile. This provides lower torque, reduced friction and improved flow characteristics, especially at the partially open position.
The vulcanised seat also ensures improved performance under high velocity and vacuum conditions.

The 304Y high performance butterfly valve has a distinctive “J” shaped PTFE seat ring which does not detract from the rigidity of the valve mechanism, yet provides a more user friendly torque profile – but without sacrificing durability or leak tightness. In common with its stable companion, the 302Y, this valve complies with face-to-face ISO5752 and ISO5211 mounting flange requirements. Nominal Size: 40mm to 150mm, 200mm and 250mm to 300mm.
