These valves feature a double pressure cylinder for the remote controlled, either pneumatically or hydraulically, closing operation; they do not feature any hand control. The opening operation is automatically controlled by suitable springs housed in the pressure cylinders; all operations are simultaneous and symmetrical to the centreline of the sleeve; in this instance, therefore, no flexible coupling for teh remote control line is required.

This valve is used for large flow diameters and has all moving parts enclosed in a suitable case.

Valve model G.S.5 consists of a two section steel body housing the flexible coupling; the two claws of the clamp, one driven by the handwheel screw and the other by the piston of the pressure cylinder, slide in the body.

The stiff frame consisting of two stainless steel tie-rods and two bronze cross-members, is secured to the cylinder by a fixing member, the spindle of the control handwheel is screwed to the other member.

This is a pinch valve with double hand control, specially recommended for the biggest flow diameters. The double control ensures easier regulation of delivery; further, the drive parts are entirely enclosed in a casing. Valve sizes start from an N.D. of 250 mm.

The G.S.1 model pinch valve is fitted with parts for closure by hand at balanced pressure, enabling closure to be made with only very slight deformation of the hose coupling, but allowing it to become perfectly cylindrical when the valve is fully open.?

The hose coupling (moulded in a single piece) has two end flanges which, without any extra packing, ensure a perfect seal between the valve packing and the pipe or receptacle to which the valve is fitted.
